WASHINGTON, April 11, 2013 -- LaserLock Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:LLTI), a global leader in providing state-of-the-art authentication solutions to governments, health care providers, high-end retailers and casinos today announced that it was naming Claudio Ballard, founder of DataTreasury Corporation and VEEDIMS, LLC, to its Board of Directors.

The U.S. Business and Industry Council named Ballard "Inventor of the Year" in 2010 for his accomplishments in creating the Global Repository Platform, a patent-protected electronic transaction system that over 24 banks currently have licensed to process digital versions of checks and other financial instruments.
