Patrick White
Chief Executive Officer

Patrick White has worked in the security printing and identification industry for 15 years. He founded the publicly traded Document Security Systems, Inc. (NYSE MKT: DSS) in 2002 and served as Chief Executive Officer and a Director on their Board from 2002 to 2012. 

Under Mr. White's direction, Document Security Systems was named Technology Fast 500 which is a list published by Deloitte LLP for the fastest growing technology companies in the USA for five (2008-2012) consecutive years. As an inventor Mr. White has also been awarded 3 US patents for digital security technologies.

During Mr. White’s tenure, DSS grew from 5 employees to more than 100 employees, with two secure data centers as well as manufacturing plants in San Francisco, CA; Rochester, NY; and Victor, NY.  Under White’s direction, his previous company’s revenue grew year over year for 12 consecutive years.

Mr. White, a forward-thinking, results-driven security technology industry executive, brings more than 20 years of private and public company operating, financial, accounting and management experience to VerifyMe. He has extensive experience building successful organizations by combining his expertise in strategic planning, business development, staffing, cost control, accounting, and financial system deployments. 

Mr. White has appeared with Liz Claman on her show, “Closing Bell” shown on the Fox Business News channel.  White currently either serves or has served on the board of several technology companies. Previously, Mr. White has held executive and financial accounting positions at the predecessor banks which are now Citizens Bank, and has purchased, owned and operated several manufacturing companies. 

Mr. White was also a member of the U.S. Secret Services, Document Security Alliance which is tasked with recommending security technologies to protect the vital records of the U.S. and state governments.

Keith Goldstein
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Goldstein has more than 25 years of experience in strategic, operational and financial management across a variety of industries. Most recently, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of ABnote North America, a four-entity division of the American Banknote Corporation operating in the U.S. and Canada where he successfully grew the business through new product introductions and acquisitions.

Mr. Goldstein holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Keith J. Cutri
VP Global Business Development

With over 32 years of professional experience, Keith Cutri has held key roles within State & Federal law enforcement, corporate security, brand protection, marketing/sales, and business development.

As an FBI Agent, Mr. Cutri conducted a broad range of criminal investigations, specializing in on- line cyber fraud, domestic terrorism, and violent crimes. Agent Cutri would later receive a Commendation from FBI Director Louis Freeh.

In the private sector, Mr. Cutri was most recently the U.S. Business Development Manager for De La Rue Authentication Solutions, responsible for consultative selling of brand protection solutions into the commercial markets. Prior to that, Mr. Cutri was the North American Manager for Brand Protection at Xerox Corporation, responsible for investigating and enforcing all aspects of grey market, black market, counterfeiting, and illicit trade. He was also Director of Business Development for Kodak’s Brand Protection Solutions group, consulting with brand owners on implementing complex solutions to combat counterfeiting and product diversion.

Mr. Cutri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems from Rochester Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Boston University.

Margaret Gezerlis, ACCA
Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Gezerlis has over 10 years of expertise in “Big 4” public accounting firms as well as private and publicly listed companies, both domestically and globally. Value-driven leader and strategist, credited with implementing sound financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems in highly complex and regulated environments.

Ms. Gezerlis has been with The CFO Squad LLC since February 2018 and provides a variety of CFO support from pre-audit services, M&A Advisory, SEC compliance, tax compliance, financial reporting and other services for clients.

Sandy Fliderman brings a passion for cutting-edge technology to VerifyMe. With 25 years’ experience to the company, he is perpetually on the lookout for the next big technology idea and has been ranked in the top 100 CTO's in the country by leading publications.  He has a long history of managing large scale infrastructure and developers throughout the world ranging from Eastern Europe to India to South America.

Norman Gardner is the founder of the Company. He is the inventor of the Company’s core anti-counterfeiting technology.  He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1999-2013.

Carl E. Berg
Director

Mr. Carl E. Berg is a businessman, real estate investor, and venture capitalist who has been included in Forbes magazine's list of the 400 wealthiest people in America numerous times. He currently is Co-Founder, Chairman of the Board and Principal Investor of BERG, LLC, a Boston-based company in the healthcare space focused on improving the efficiency and access of care by using patient biology as the central core to developing drugs and diagnostics. Mr. Berg is one of the co-visionaries of Silicon Valley where he has been developing, leasing, owning and operated R&D and office buildings since 1963. Mr. Berg has built or owned over 15 million square feet of commercial real estate and was the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Mission West Properties, Inc., from 1997 until its sale in 2012. Mission West Properties was a public real estate investment trust with Microsoft & Apple as major tenants. Mr. Berg has also been involved in the venture capital business since 1965 and was the first investor in Integrated Devices Technology and Sun Microsystems. He has been a major investor in over 100 other technology companies including NetLogic, Savi Technology, On Command Video, QED and INS. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors for multiple companies including, BioElectron Technology Corporation, Voice Carrier and Quintess.

Laurence Blickman
Director

Laurence Blickman (“Larry”) is currently the Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield.  Larry began his real estate career with Ashwill-Burke in 1978 where he was quickly recognized as a top producer. Within two years he recognized the need within the business community for a specialized regional brokerage company. Larry co-founded BT Commercial in 1981 on these principles. In 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2001 the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers (ASVB) awarded Larry as the Investment Broker of the Year. In 1992 Larry was inducted into the ASVB's Hall of Fame, its highest award of achievement. In the past 10 years alone he has personally completed sales transactions totaling over $4.1 billion including more than 16 million square feet of buildings, over 1,500 acres of raw land, millions of square feet of leasing and nearly $200 million in financing.

Harvey P. Eisen
Director

Mr. Eisen is currently the Chairman, CEO and Director of Wright Investors' Service Holdings, Inc. (WISH). Mr. Eisen also served as Chairman of Bedford Oak Advisors, LLC, an investment partnership since 1998 and Chairman and Director of GP Strategies since 2004. Mr. Eisen was previously Senior Vice President of Travelers, Inc. and held various executive positions with Primerica, SunAmerica Corp., and Integrated Resources Asset Management. Mr. Eisen was President and Portfolio Manager of Eisen Capital Management for 10 years and he began his career as an analyst with Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. and Wertheim. Mr. Eisen is widely recognized as one of the country's leading portfolio managers and is often consulted by the national media for his expertise of the investment marketplace. Mr. Eisen is frequently quoted in The Wall Street JournalThe New York TimesPension World, U.S. News & World Report and Bloomberg Businessweek and appears regularly on various television programs like CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Fox News.

Marshall Geller
Director

Marshall Geller is a Senior Advisor to St. Cloud, a Los Angeles-based private investment firm focused on providing growth capital to the lower-middle market. Mr. Geller is a member of the Investment Committee of St. Cloud. He has extensive experience initiating, arranging, and making investments in public and private companies. Mr. Geller spent over twenty years as Senior Managing Director for Bear, Stearns & Company, with oversight of all operations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Hong Kong, and the Far East. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE:GPX); COR Securities Holdings, Inc.; and the UCLA Health System. Mr. Geller previously served on the Board of Directors of California Pizza Kitchen (NASDAQ:CPKI) and led the Special Committee to sell the company. He was previously the Interim Co-Chairman of Hexcel Corporation (NYSE:HXL) and Interim President and COO of Players International, Inc. Mr. Geller also serves as a member of the Board of Governors of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. Mr. Geller graduated from California State University, Los Angeles, with a BS in Business Administration, where he currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Business & Economics. Mr. Geller also served as a Commissioner of the Little Hoover Commission, an independent California state oversight agency.

Howard Goldberg
Director

Mr. Goldberg has served as a director of the Company since July 12, 2017. Mr. Goldberg was appointed to the Board for his experience with being a director of other public companies and his legal expertise. Mr. Goldberg served as a director of Winthrop Realty Trust from 2003 until August 2016. Mr. Goldberg currently serves as a trustee for Winthrop Realty Liquidating Trust.  Mr. Goldberg has served as a director of New York REIT, Inc. since March 2017. He has been retired since 1994 after a long career as a lawyer. He provided consulting services to the Company through December 31, 2017.
